Dino Parc Râșnov, the largest dinosaur park in South-Eastern Europe, is ranked third in the top amusement parks in Europe, a ranking made by the specialized website europeanbestdestinations.com. Thus, Dino Parc Râșnov is the only amusement park in Romania to receive one of the most important European recognitions, after managing to remain for the second consecutive year in the top of the Destinația Anului 2024 competition, in the category "Amusement and Adventure Parks".
The dinosaur park in Râșnov will hold the title of European Best Destination in 2024, alongside other established European amusement parks such as Disneyland (France), Europa-park (Germany), PortAventura World (Spain) and Gröna Lund (Sweden).
"We are thrilled to receive this prestigious award and we are proud to be among the top parks in Europe. This recognition is a proof of the hard work of the entire Dino Parc team. We have brought a unique concept to Romania and together we have managed to create, on a larger scale than others abroad, an exceptional destination that offers memorable experiences to families from all over the world," said Adrian Apostu, General Manager of Dino Parc Râșnov.
Since its launch in 2015, Dino Parc Râșnov has captured the hearts of families with children, quickly becoming their favorite destination. With an impressive number of almost half a million visitors annually, Dino Parc Râșnov is the most visited theme park in Romania. The mission was clear from the very beginning: to offer a unique experience, both educational and recreational. Year after year, the park offers visitors new and unique activities and has managed to significantly increase its surface area from 1.4 hectares to 4 hectares.
"Our presence in the top 3 amusement parks in Europe consolidates our leading position in the Romanian top tourist destinations category and contributes significantly to the attractiveness of the Râșnov-Brașov-Bran area, showing the huge impact Dino Parc has at local and national level. We will continue our efforts for its development, that's why we are considering new investments aimed at exhibiting the largest animatronic dinosaurs, installing exclusive playgrounds, but also setting up new exhibition spaces, in collaboration with prestigious partners from the country and abroad", added Adrian Apostu.
Located near the Medieval Fortress of Râșnov, in the heart of Transylvania, the park covers an area of 4 hectares and is home to over 120 scientifically certified dinosaurs, reproduced in life-size according to the latest paleontological findings. Dino Parc Râșnov has continuously expanded its offer, and today its visitors enjoy an impressive dinosaur trail, children's playgrounds, tree houses with scientific exhibits, an open-air cinema, a 9D cinema, adventure trails, a laser maze, unique exhibitions and several interactive areas. Also during the summer, the park hosts themed Sleepovers, where participants have the unique opportunity to spend the night surrounded by dinosaurs.
