Packeta Romania enters a partnership with Diverta and expands its pick-up point network

Business Forum
Packeta Romania, a global digital platform for eCommerce, announces a new partnership with the office and stationery retail chain, Diverta, adding 17 new pick-up points to its national network. This collaboration marks an important step in Packeta's development strategy, providing customers with a broader and more flexible network of locations for collecting online orders in key cities across Romania.

The new pick-up points in the Diverta network will streamline the order collection process, enhancing accessibility for customers in major cities.

“This partnership is not just about adding more pick-up points, but reflects our desire to adapt to the constantly changing needs of consumers and continuously improve the delivery experience,” said Alexandr Jeleascov, Managing Director of Packeta Romania. “In the context of rapidly growing eCommerce, providing fast and accessible logistics solutions is essential to remain competitive. Partnering with Diverta allows us to optimize delivery processes, reduce costs, and expand strategically, ensuring an efficient and pleasant experience for our customers”.

Benefits for customers and retailers

The partnership between Packeta and Diverta brings multiple advantages for both companies and their customers. By integrating Diverta locations into Packeta's pick-up point network, consumers benefit from greater flexibility, with more options for order collection, without being tied to home deliveries. At the same time, Packeta's partner online stores now have access to an expanded logistics channel, reducing costs and offering their customers an enhanced delivery experience.

Additionally, including Diverta stores in Packeta's network helps reduce delivery times and optimize logistics processes. Customers can collect online orders from well-known, centralized locations, enhancing the convenience and efficiency of the entire process.

For Diverta, this partnership is an opportunity to attract more customers to its physical stores through pick-up services. Once in the stores, customers can discover and purchase other products from Diverta's wide range of office supplies, stationery, and entertainment offerings, generating additional sales. This collaboration creates a beneficial synergy between the two brands, providing consumers with solutions that better meet their needs.

A business model adapted to market changes

In the current eCommerce market, where speed and flexibility are key criteria for success, Packeta continues its strategy of expanding its pick-up point network through strategic partnerships. Adding more retailers like Diverta strengthens Packeta's presence in Romania and allows it to offer more efficient and accessible logistics solutions to a wide range of consumers.

This business model not only brings operational benefits but also reflects Packeta's ability to innovate and respond to market dynamics. As the volume of online orders grows, flexible delivery solutions become essential, and expanding the pick-up point network is a direct response to this need. By diversifying pick-up locations and adapting to the specific needs of the market, Packeta succeeds in creating an efficient and scalable logistics ecosystem.

Packeta Romania recently announced the expansion of its network of online stores and partner sellers to over 1,800, almost double compared to a year ago.

At the same time, Packeta Group has invested in expanding its pick-up point network and improving the services offered internationally. Currently, Packeta Group operates a network of over 16,000 own pick-up points, including more than 6,900 Z-BOX lockers, and over 144,000 partner pick-up points, delivering parcels for over 49,000 online stores.

Packeta Romania is a global digital platform for eCommerce and a member of the Packeta Group, active in the Romanian market since 2017. The company aims to facilitate the logistics process for sellers and online stores through multiple delivery services, without imposing restrictions on customers regarding the time or place for collecting products. This is made possible by an extensive network of over 144,000 partner pick-up points across Europe and more than 6,900 Z-BOX lockers.

In 2023, Packeta Group transported nearly 106 million parcels and currently collaborates with over 49,000 online stores and sellers. The Packeta mobile app has already been downloaded by over 8,000,000 users.
