Lefties - brand belonging to the Inditex Group, one of the world's largest fashion retail companies, opened a store in the Iulius Town Timisoara mixed-use project. Thus, this multifunctional complex became the first project in Romania to integrate in its tenants mix all the brands comprised in the Spanish Group's portfolio: ZARA, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, ZARA Home and Lefties.
Lefties inaugurated its third store in Romania, on a generous 5,000 square meters area located on the Iulius Mall's upper floor, a place that incorporates the latest, newest digital trends in retail: smart fitting rooms, Easy Pay cash-registers for card or cash payments, dedicated stations for any returning of purchased items and a section for customizing certain items of clothing and accessories. The Digital Lefties store has a unique product presentation layout, making it easy for customers to quickly identify the items they want, whether by price or depending on personal style.
The brand's development strategy in Romania relies on the unique Digital Store concept, which is now also available in Iulius Town Timisoara, offering thereby to its customers ample retail premises having areas that range from 3,000 to 5,000 square meters, such store being equipped with advanced technology for an easy-going, integrated and efficient shopping experience.
Smart fitting rooms
The Lefties Digital Store introduces an innovative organization system in the fitting rooms area, designed to reduce the waiting times. If occupancy exceeds 50%, the system automatically activates an order number, allowing customers to continue shopping until a fitting room is free, without having to stand in line. Notifications are sent via the Lefties app or a printed ticket, at the time when a fitting room becomes available. The fitting rooms are also equipped with a returns' carousel, enabling customers to insert any items they decide not to purchase through a dedicated slot and have them sent directly to the warehouse, for processing by the store staff.
Easy Pay
This innovative payment system applies RFID technology to instantly scan the items selected by customers for purchase, and allows for payments made in cash, with bank cards or by means of mobile phones. Easy Pay eliminates checkout queues, allowing customers to pay from any section of the store while simplifying the process of removing security tags from items, at the same time.
