A key challenge in 2024 was the partial removal of tax incentives for the IT industry, resulting in a sharp rise in operational costs and increased pressure on the company's profitability and global competitiveness.

At the same time, Devhd continued to invest in educating the Romanian market regarding the potential of the ServiceNow platform, focusing on solutions in key areas such as IT Service Management, Customer Service Management, HR Service Delivery, IT Operations Management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Asset Management, as well as integrated AI and GenAI solutions.
Key milestones in 2024
Most significant milestones for the company:
- Expanding the operations in the UK market by signing the contract with an important client in the financial sector;
- Increasing the technical capability, with the Devhd team earning over 30 ServiceNow certifications, including 4 product line accreditations for the following ServiceNow products: ITSM, ITSM Pro, App Engine, and Hardware Asset Management;
- Launching the AuditUP application, the first app developed by the Devhd team on ServiceNow technology, globally available on the ServiceNow Store. AuditUP is a unique industry solution that adds NOW Platform vast automated and configurable capabilities for priviliged access monitoring. The application enables real-time monitoring of admin/developer activities related to any specific configuration of the platform that poses high risks to corporate security and may lead to financial loss for the company.
2025 goals and approaches
2025 could bring significant opportunities for the IT market, driven by the increased interest of companies in automating business processes, cybersecurity, and improving online customer experience, as well as by the adoption of new AI and GenAI technologies. However, current global economic and political situation poses a major challenge, resulting in a more cautious approach to investments and budget allocations.
In 2025, the company plans to further develop its operations in the three markets where it is currently present—Romania, Germany, and the UK—expand its team, and launch new applications on the ServiceNow platform to address the needs of global clients across different industries.
"We hope that all our plans will be supported by a more stable and predictable economic environment, but despite the current political and fiscal uncertainties, we will stay flexible and adjust to changes in both the external and national environments. At the same time, we will keep innovating in the development of applications and the implementation of new projects and technologies," concluded the Adrian Herdan.
