Rețele Electrice companies have initiated a public tender on the SEAP platform, with a maximum cumulative value of about RON 136 million (excluding VAT), for the procurement of services for the implementation of the Advanced Automated Distribution Management System (AADMS) and Workforce Management System (WFM).
"With this acquisition, we aim to optimize interventions and improve the quality of the distribution service. We continue to modernize and digitalize the network so that we can respond promptly and efficiently to customers' needs, significantly reducing intervention time in case of energy supply interruptions. At the same time, the advanced systems we will put in place will allow us to better monitor the grid and ensure reliable and secure electricity distribution," stated Mihai Pește, Managing Director of Rețele Electrice Companies.
The new AADMS platform will allow a centralized and automated management of the network, facilitating network performance monitoring and rapid interventions to ensure reliable operation of the network to the quality standards required in electricity distribution.
As a result of this tender, dedicated projects will be implemented simultaneously in the three operating areas of the Rețele Electrice, the procurement documentation being composed of two volumes, correlated in terms of objectives and implementation schedule and having different funding sources.
The AADMS Integrated Platform, with the power grid analysis and modeling modules, will be realized through European funds, and the SCADA and OMS components natively integrated in the platform, as well as the WFM system will be realized through own funds.
The implementation of the AADMS integrated platform will digitize and streamline the management processes of the distribution network, while the operation and maintenance processes will be modernized through the implementation of the Workforce Management System (WFM). Therefore, the ADMS project will also include a WFM system, fully integrated with the ADMS platform and all necessary horizontal components, contributing to digitizing and streamlining the operation and maintenance processes, which are closely linked to network management activities.
Thus, the project will address an essential and complex component of the efficiency of electricity distribution, considerably improving network parameters and service quality. This will lead to the reduction of intervention times in case of interruptions in the supply of users, the digitization of processes and the increase of the efficiency of specific activities, as well as the improvement of the access of users to the distribution service, the increase of the quality of the distributed energy and the reduction of the duration of interruptions, both planned and unplanned.
Rețele Electrice companies operate networks with a total length of about 134,000 kilometers in three major areas of the country: South Muntenia (including Bucharest), Banat and Dobrogea, covering one third of the local distribution market, and develop an investment program to improve the quality of service, safety and performance of the networks and local implementation of the PPC Group's environmental standards. The electricity networks operated by the three Electric Networks companies include 289 transformer stations and over 25,000 transformer substations.
