Nofar Energy, a renewable energy investor listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, has signed an EPC turnkey and O&M contract for a 265 MW photovoltaic power plant in Corbii Mari, Dâmbovița County.

The contract was signed with a consortium comprising Spain-based COX Energy and Romania-based AJ Construction.

Nofar Energy was advised on the contract terms by law firm Clifford Chance Badea.

Last August, Nofar Energy purchased Aviv Renewable Investment, the project company developing a 160 MW photovoltaic park in Giurgiu County, in a deal assisted by the same law firm.

The investor has over 815 MW of PV projects under construction and pre-construction in Romania, and a 155 MW connected solar project in the southern part of the country.

The company is also investing in an energy storage facility with a capacity of 120 MWh.
