NEXO Group, one of the main Romanian full-service groups for real estate development, construction, and housing installations, announces the development of a residential complex of ultra energy-efficient villas, in Pipera, through an investment with a value of almost €10 million. The NEXO Nature complex, unique in Romania, will include 14 smart villas, with almost zero costs for heating and cooling.
Developed on an area of 5,000 sqm, in the middle of nature, in Pipera-Voluntari (Strada Matei Millo), with an exit to the A3 highway and close to Bucharest, the NEXO Nature complex brings a new residence and lifestyle concept to Romania, focused on reducing expenses and increasing people's quality of life. To ensure these benefits, the villas will have integrated technologies such as ground-water heat pumps, ceiling cooling systems, photovoltaic systems, centralized ventilation systems, and automation and remote control solutions to modify indoor comfort from the phone, from wherever the owner is.
"We are happy to announce that we will soon start the development of the NEXO Nature residential project, a unique green housing complex in Romania for which we use innovative technologies for the construction and operation of the houses. The first phase of the project includes 14 villas designed to offer very high energy efficiency, that is, it ensures the reduction of energy costs in any season to almost zero. We are talking about a complex of smart villas, which has nearby modern facilities and complementary services for adults and children, including kindergartens, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, and tartan running tracks around the forest, all harmoniously integrated into - an exceptional natural setting, between two forests. Although the villas will have generous areas, up to 380 sq m each, maintenance costs will be almost non-existent. It is, therefore, a proposal to reinvent and refine the way of living - healthier, more economical, more sustainable", says Sorin Lăpădatu, founder and CEO of NEXO Group.
What technologies will the villas in the NEXO Nature complex be built on and how much will they cost
NEXO Nature villas will be developed on construction technologies similar to those for passive houses, to reduce heating and cooling costs close to zero. These include ground-water heat pumps, ceiling cooling systems, photovoltaic systems, and centralized ventilation systems, but also the application of specialized techniques or materials to ensure waterproofing or insulation of building elements against external factors such as water, air, wind, dust, or noise.
During the construction process, each villa will be subjected to rigorous tests, including overpressure with smoke and obtaining the Green Certificate to guarantee the quality and sustainability of the construction. Thus, the developer NEXO Group will use state-of-the-art methods for sealing and installing windows, ensuring a comfortable and energy-efficient environment.
Designed to be very energy efficient, the future homes in the NEXO Nature complex also benefit from modern architecture and attractive design. The visual aspect of the homes is combined with perfect functionality, through the use of advanced technologies to ensure a sustainable and harmonious lifestyle.
"With usable areas of up to 380 sqm, the houses are built on 1 or 2 floors, with 6 living rooms, 4 bathrooms, a living room with a height of 6 m, a generous terrace on the 1st floor, a yard with green space of up to at 220 sqm and a private pool that can be heated in cold weather. Each villa is designed as an oasis of modern comfort, designed not only to reduce the carbon footprint but also to improve the quality of life of its residents. The cost of such an ultra-energy-efficient villa, developed on a solid structure and an innovative and atypical design concept, is between €440,000 and 1€ million. Since these houses are energy self-sustaining, future residents will benefit from efficient pool water heating, extending the season of use from March to December. The homes in the NEXO Nature residential complex bring a new concept to Romania, to meet the environmental norms and the needs of people now, but also in the future, for a better and more sustainable lifestyle", explains Sorin Lapadatu, founder and CEO of NEXO Group.
Thus, this housing concept redefines home comfort by implementing innovative heating and cooling systems, using ground-water heat pumps with wells drilled at great depth. They guarantee energy efficiency and low maintenance costs, using renewable energy from the ground to provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water supply. Moreover, ground-water heat pumps will be increasingly present in house construction projects in Romania due to multiple advantages, including reduced costs for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water, eliminating dependence on natural gas, and reducing the carbon footprint, but also the possibility of generating the necessary electricity through an integrated photovoltaic system, offering energy independence.
The NEXO Nature houses in Pipera-Voluntari will benefit from a centralized ventilation system with heat recovery, which provides fresh and filtered air continuously, without the need to open the windows. It also optimizes humidity and CO2 levels for a healthy living environment and reduces dust and allergens, keeping the interior cleaner.
The villas will benefit from their electricity, in an unlimited way, through an integrated photovoltaic system, which decreases energy dependence on suppliers. At the same time, each villa will have its charging station for cars and other electric vehicles, through the energy produced by the solar panels.
Moreover, the comfort inside, temperatures, and lighting, can be controlled remotely, from the phone, through an automation solution. This allows easy management of lighting, blinds, air conditioning, ventilation, and customization of settings for maximum comfort and energy efficiency, but not only, through a mobile application, regardless of where the owner is.
Established in 2011, NEXO Group consists of NEXO Instalconstruct and NEXO Imobiliare, offering complete construction and installation solutions for houses with low running costs. The company specializes in complex real estate projects and individual homes, using modern technologies to ensure the energy independence of homes.
