Techbolide moves headquarters to Business Garden Bucharest

Business Forum
Techbolide, the software and IoT technologies developer specializing in waste management and business process digitalization, has announced its relocation to the sustainable office complex Business Garden Bucharest. This move represents a significant milestone in the company's evolution, underlining its commitment to innovation, responsible growth, and sustainability.

Relocating to Business Garden Bucharest is more than just a change of address for Techbolide; it reflects the company's adoption of circular economy principles across all aspects of its operations. Moreover, as Techbolide's activities intensified, the team has grown substantially, tripling its employee number in recent years, thus creating the need for a more spacious and efficient working environment.

Business Garden Bucharest, a LEED Platinum-certified space, boasts Building A with 98 LEED points—the highest score in Romania, second in Central and Eastern Europe, and third worldwide. The new headquarters offers state-of-the-art working conditions designed to foster creativity and collaboration, with large windows maximizing natural light, advanced climate control systems with 100% fresh air, and energy-efficient solutions such as LED lighting and an innovative rainwater management system.

“Moving into a modern office space marks an important step in our company's rapid growth and development over the past years. We aim to continue expanding our business in a work environment that allows us to meet future challenges with agility and efficiency while staying true to our core values. Choosing a certified energy-efficient space that aligns with the same sustainability standards we apply in our projects emphasizes our vision of excellence and responsibility. A recent example of this is our involvement, alongside project leader Ax Perpetuum, in the large-scale initiative of digitalized ecological islands funded by the PNRR,” said Mădălina Smochină, CEO of Techbolide.

“This move is more than just an address change for our offices; it's a reaffirmation of our commitment to sustainability. Integrating circular economy principles and cutting-edge technologies into our activities reflects Techbolide's values and responsibility toward the environment. Furthermore, this step aligns perfectly with our strategic direction emphasized by last year's rebranding process, when we became Techbolide. The new name better reflects our focus on technology, IoT solutions, and sustainability, while the move to a modern tech-driven space highlights our ongoing commitment to innovation and positive impact,” added Georgiana Bădălică-Petrescu, Marketing & Communication Director at Techbolide.

Last year, Techbolide underwent a rebranding process to better embody its mission. Under the Techbolide name, the company has already developed integrated IoT solutions that support the objective of increasing recycling rates nationwide. Demonstrating its expertise, Techbolide has joined Ax Perpetuum in an ambitious initiative supported by PNRR funds, centered on sustainability and digitalized ecological islands. This involves implementing efficient and digitalized waste separation systems, where Techbolide provides a comprehensive and tailored digitalization solution.

Business Garden Bucharest, located on Calea Plevnei, successfully meets Techbolide's sustainability requirements, offering premium working conditions and an excellent location with access to public transport and a variety of nearby amenities, such as shopping centres, dining options, and fitness facilities. Urban gardens and outdoor relaxation spaces within the complex contribute to a balanced environment, encouraging communication and collaboration among teams. Techbolide was assisted in the lease transaction by 108 REAL ESTATE, a commercial real estate expert with extensive experience in Central and Eastern Europe.

This office hub stands out for its ambitious goals of minimizing its carbon footprint through efficient solutions and sustainable policies. Its technologies and workspaces perfectly align with Techbolide's ESG objectives, contributing to a sustainable future. The cutting-edge IoT lab and collaborative spaces available to Techbolide employees catalyse innovation. This new work environment supports Techbolide's growth as it seeks to consolidate its position and become a regional leader in the European market by developing tailored solutions for the recycling industry.

“We are honoured to collaborate with Techbolide, a company that shares our values of sustainability and efficiency. Business Garden Bucharest was designed to provide a modern work environment certified for energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact, perfectly aligned with our partners' vision,” stated Sorin Macoveiu, Commercial Manager at Vastint Romania, developer and administrator of the complex.

Techbolide continues to pioneer sustainable IoT solutions and technologies, contributing significantly to digital transformation and the transition to a circular economy. Through projects like digitalized ecological islands and operating in a green building, the company proves that technology can support responsible resource management and environmental protection.
