The Top Employers Institute is an internationally recognized institution which surveys and independently audits companies' people practices based on top international standards. In 2024 in Switzerland, 34 companies were distinguished as Top Employers.
Benjamin Lakatos, Chairman and CEO of MET Group said: “Since the establishment of MET in 2007, we have always focused on driving our growth from our own resources and talents. We have outstanding colleagues, and we consider them as the company's greatest assets. MET Group has created an environment for its employees to bring out the best they can – without limiting their own potential. We are absolutely delighted by this recognition, as it reflects our unwavering commitment to creating a workplace where you can thrive and for which you truly enjoy working. As I always say: at the end of the day, it's the people who make the difference.”
During the comprehensive evaluation process, over 250 areas were assessed in MET Group's HR policies and practices including people strategy, talent acquisition, employee development, talent management, wellbeing offerings, diversity and inclusion, as well as work environment. Becoming a Top Employer means that MET meets the highest standards required from an employer, and it also provides the opportunity to receive feedback on areas where the company can further improve and gain access to best practices.
MET Group's HR Director, Tünde Tóth added: “Our approach to consider our people as a strategic asset, our digital journey, ethics and integrity, recruitment practices and the MET Alumni Club were all highlighted as leading initiatives in place in Switzerland, and even ahead of other Top Employers.”
