Autonom Services secures €300 million credit facility

Romanian mobility solutions provider Autonom Services has signed a €300 million credit facilities agreement with an option to increase to €350 million, including a sustainability component.

The company entered into the agreement on November 24, with a consortium of eight banks including BT, BRD - Groupe Société Générale, ING Bank Amsterdam Bucharest Branch, UniCredit Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Exim Banca Românească, Banca Comercială Intesa Sanpaolo Romania, and Garanti Bank as initial lenders.

The financing package consists of two facilities: a €250 million revolving credit facility for refinancing existing facilities and financing future vehicle and equipment purchases, with a seven-year term extendable to 11 years, and a €50 million revolving credit facility for general corporate purposes, with a two-year term extendable to six years.

The credit facilities include a sustainability component designed to align financing with Autonom Services' environmental, social, and governance objectives. The structure integrates performance indicators and mechanisms that encourage continuous improvement of ESG performance, including a new indicator compared to the previous sustainability framework.

BRD - Groupe Société Générale and ING Bank Amsterdam Bucharest Branch serve as sustainability coordinators, while BCR acts as agent and security agent for the facility.
