The company said the focus on AI, cloud-native architectures, and data analytics within the Bucharest centre will be crucial in driving the next generation of sales technology.
The Bucharest R&D centre will be led by Razvan Caciula, who recently joined Showpad as Director of Engineering. Caciula, a respected technology leader with over two decades of experience, including a significant tenure at Adobe in Bucharest, will be instrumental in establishing the new centre as a hub of innovation.
“Our growth is fueled by innovation, and Bucharest provides an exceptional talent pool to help us accelerate our vision,” said Hendrik Isebaert, CEO of Showpad.
Razvan Caciula, Director of Engineering at Showpad Bucharest, added: “The Bucharest R&D center will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform.”
Showpad has ambitious hiring targets for the Bucharest centre, aiming to onboard 40 engineering and product professionals by the end of 2025.
