The new copilot, trained on real consumer behavior data, helps retailers transform each store into an intelligent "radar" providing real-time insights for supply chain planning, marketing, and community needs.
The startup says it has already processed over 2.5 billion transactions in 2025.
Dan Marc (in photo), CEO and Co-Founder of Footprints AI, said the platform enables retailers to "anticipate consumer behavior, quickly recalibrate to real-time demand, and most importantly, reduce waste—an issue that concerns us all."
The startup recently signed a partnership with Studenac, Croatia's largest grocery retailer with over 1,400 stores. The platform is also active in Poland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, with Altex and Carrefour in Romania recently joining the Footprints AI ecosystem, adding approximately 600 stores.
The platform is offered free to partner retailers, with all data strictly anonymized. Its business model focuses on monetizing insights through behaviorally targeted retail media campaigns funded by brands and agencies.
Footprints AI projects a more than fivefold revenue increase in 2025, driven by regional expansion and new business verticals.
In early 2025, the company secured a €2.3 million investment, aimed at international expansion and accelerating technological development.
