Digi Communications has reported consolidated revenues and other income of €1.11 billion for H1 2025, marking a 21% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The group's consolidated revenues and other income for Q2 2025 reached €560 million, an 18% year-on-year increase compared to the same period of the previous year. This strong revenue growth was accompanied by a 2% rise in Adjusted EBITDA for H1 2025, which reached €339 million.

At the same time, the profit fell to €10.3 million in H1 2025 compared to €54.3 million in the same period of last year.

Serghei Bulgac, CEO of Digi Communications, said: "Romania delivered very healthy revenue and RGU growth, Spain continued its strong double-digit expansion, and Italy maintained its upward trajectory in both turnover and client numbers."

However, the Adjusted EBITDA for Q2 2025 saw a slight decrease of 1% to €168 million, a result attributed to the ramp-up of operations in Portugal, which required higher initial investments to support the expansion of the customer base.

Furthermore, the group recorded a 17% year-on-year increase in revenue-generating units (RGUs), approaching a new milestone of 30 million.

As of the end of Q2 2025, the total number of RGUs stood at 29.8 million across its four key markets: Romania, Spain, Italy, and Portugal. The mobile segment was a primary driver of this growth, accounting for 49% of the total client base and increasing its RGUs by 22% to 14.5 million.

In Romania, Digi's total number of RGUs grew by 7% to 18.8 million customers This was supported by a 13% increase in mobile service RGUs, reaching 7 million, and a 7% increase in broadband services, which reached 5 million RGUs. Pay-TV services also saw a 3% increase, reaching 6 million RGUs.

Operations in Spain continued their impressive performance, with a 29% increase in fixed services, internet, and mobile telephony users, reaching 9.7 million RGUs. Mobile users in Spain grew by 24% to 6.6 million, and broadband users increased by 35% to 2.3 million.
