World leading hospitality group Accor expands its portfolio in Romania with the signing of a new franchise agreement with Paradis Hotels & Resorts for the conversion of the Dana Holiday Club into the new ibis Styles Venus. Set to open doors in June 2024, this venture marks the debut of the ibis Styles brand on the Romanian Black Sea coast, offering a vibrant and stylised hospitality experience in the heart of Venus.

ibis Styles Venus will boast – after refurbishment – 179 generously spaced rooms, including two exclusive suites, all designed with the unique and creative flair characteristic of the ibis Styles brand. The hotel will also feature a breakfast area, a pool bar for guests to enjoy refreshing cocktails by the pool, a large exterior pool for leisurely swims, and a new fitness room to cater to the wellness needs of its guests by 2025.

Renowned for its historic charm and as a key destination on the Romanian seaside, Venus resort has seen a resurgence in recent years with the renovation of existing properties and the development of new hotels. The ibis Styles Venus aims to contribute to this revival, drawing guests to its modern facilities and the scenic beauty of the Black Sea coast.

The jungle storytelling of the future hotel will invite both children and adults to embark on an adventure, discovering the key messages of the jungle animals while embarking into a mysterious treasure hunt. The creative design was conceived by SelfDezign – a young studio with a cool and innovative spirit.

"ibis Styles is celebrated for its dynamic, thematic designs that embrace the locale's culture, history, and natural beauty. Each hotel under this brand offers a unique story and an immersive experience for its guests," remarked Cătălina Toma, Accor Development Director for Romania, Bulgaria and Republic of Moldova. "The introduction of ibis Styles Venus not only proves our commitment to expanding our presence in Romania but also enhances the touristic appeal of the Romanian Black Sea destination."

The ibis Styles network in Romania includes the ibis Styles Arad, ibis Styles Bucharest Airport, ibis Styles Bucharest City Center, ibis Styles Bucharest Erbas, ibis Styles Dunarea Galati, ibis Styles Pitesti Arges and ibis Styles Sibiu Arsenal. With the addition of the ibis Styles Venus, Accor continues to strengthen its footprint across the country, offering diverse and quality accommodation options to local and international travellers.

"We are thrilled to partner with Accor and bring the ibis Styles brand to Venus," said Aurelian Marin, representative of Paradis Hotels & Resorts, the owning company of the Dana Holiday Club. "This transformation allows us to elevate the Dana Holiday Club to new hospitality standards, combining the charm of the Black Sea with the innovative and guest-focused approach of ibis Styles. We look forward to welcoming guests to this exceptional location, where they can create lasting memories amidst the beauty of Venus."
