Small spaces in industrial park: CTP unveils first CTBox building in Romania

Business Forum
CTP, Europe's largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), announces the launch of its first CTBox building in Romania, located within the largest industrial park in Central and Eastern Europe, CTPark Bucharest West.

This facility introduces an innovative concept that has already proven successful in other international markets and is now available to businesses in Romania. It offers plug-and-play warehouse and office spaces ready for immediate use within CTPark Bucharest West, a flagship project with a total planned lettable area of nearly 1.5 million sqm, known for providing the best work environment among Romania's industrial parks.

CTBox is a dynamic development created to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with flexible spaces that support their growth within a vibrant business community. Each unit, ranging from 500 to 600 square meters, seamlessly integrates modern warehouse, office, and showroom spaces within a contemporary building.

CTBox is designed not only for traditional warehousing and production but also offers versatile spaces ideal for businesses engaged in sales activities, such as showrooms, supermarkets, and auto service centers. These spaces accommodate various customer interaction needs, enabling smaller businesses to operate alongside multinational organizations. This unique setup fosters growth and enhances visibility, similar to how co-working spaces benefit startups.

Andrei Bentea, Business Development Director at CTP Romania, highlights the innovative approach behind the CTBox: “We are happy to announce the introduction of our new CTBox concept in Romania. This new development represents a significant step forward in our strategy to offer flexible and accessible industrial space solutions and allows us to effectively address the demand for smaller spaces. By combining small unit sizes with the benefits of a large-scale park, we are creating an ideal environment for SMEs to thrive alongside major industry players”.

The first CTBox tenant is Profi, which has opened a new supermarket within the building. This addition significantly enhances the convenience for employees and the local community, providing a range of essential goods and services previously unavailable in the area. Profi's new location offers a broad selection of products including fresh produce, dairy, snacks, and household goods, all available 24/7. The store also features a coffee corner and a variety of pre-packaged and freshly baked items, catering to diverse customer needs.

CTP continues to lead the market through its commitment to sustainability and efficiency. The CTBox is designed with energy-efficient materials and systems, ensuring low overall energy consumption and minimal environmental impact. The building adheres to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards for environmental and energy management.

Currently, there are several spaces available within the CTBox, suitable for various business activities. This presents an excellent opportunity for companies looking to establish a presence in a strategic location, with the benefits of a large industrial park environment.

CTPark Bucharest West spans approximately 855,000 sqm and features the unique Clubhaus community centre, equipped with amenities such as a canteen, supermarket, amphitheatre, meeting rooms, outdoor exercise facilities, and an onsite medical office, providing a high-quality working environment for its tenants and over 2,500 employees.
