Losan Depot leased 3,500 sqm area in CTPark Bucharest North

Business Forum
CTP, Europe's largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), CTP announces the relocation of Losan Depot, a leader in the distribution of materials for the furniture and interior design industry, to CTPark Bucharest North, where it has leased a 3,500 sqm space. Losan Depot consolidates its activity in a modern, sustainable space optimized for its operational needs.

Losan Depot was founded in 2005 under the name Losan Melapal, as a producer of melamine-coated chipboard and countertops, a name well-known to furniture manufacturers. Since 2013, with the change of name to Losan Depot, a new stage begins, that of a distributor of materials for the furniture and interior design industry. The name ''Depot'' together with the 7 warehouses located in Bucharest, Brasov, Craiova, Cluj, Focsani, Roman, and Timisoara reflects the desire to be closer to customers throughout the country as well as the company's commitment to making it possible to deliver items from stock to any customer within 24 hours.

The company's portfolio includes a wide range of products such as melamine faced chipboard, countertops, counter tops, laminated or lacquered decorative panels, panels for furniture manufacturing or wall cladding, MDF, HDF, HPL, compact laminates, OSB, DHF, panelling, parquet, plywood, technical or veneered panels, ABS, PVC and veneer edges, pellets, interior doors, hardware.

The relocation to CTPark Bucharest North comes in the context of a need to optimize space and processes. Losán Depot is reducing its operational area from 6,000 sqm to 3,500 sqm, a move that will allow them to improve operational efficiency and comply with the strict ISU requirements, given the complexity of the production flow combined with the storage of raw materials and finished products. Choosing a modern and activity-adapted space, with sustainable operational costs, was crucial, especially since the location facilitates the retention of the specialized team formed over the years.

Another decisive factor was the technical configuration of the CTPark Bucharest North space, which includes customized dimensions for the access doors, essential for handling the one-piece kitchen countertops. The space is partly dedicated to production and partly to storage, and CTP has demonstrated its ability to quickly and efficiently implement the necessary technical requirements. The seven-year contract underlines the long-term confidence in this solution.

„CTPark Bucharest North is an ideal destination for companies seeking customized, efficient and scalable solutions. We are happy to support Losán in optimizing their operations and contributing to the success of their business through a space adapted to their specific needs”, said Viorela Olteanu, Business Developer at CTP Romania.

The relocation process was advised by the Simon, Iuga & Partners team, represented by Andrei Koszti, partner.
