CBRE has appointed Dana Bordei as Head of Industrial and Logistics for Romania and Head of Industrial and Logistics Strategic Client Development for CEE South. Bordei brings experience spanning both consultancy and real estate development, and will lead CBRE's industrial and logistics operations in Romania while overseeing client development across Central and Eastern Europe South.

Bordei served as Head of Industrial at CBRE Romania between 2008 and 2019, closing leasing transactions totalling 1.8 million sqm. She subsequently held the position of Commercial Director at WDP from 2019 to 2021, before joining VGP as Country Manager Commercial from 2021 to 2026. Internationally, WDP and VGP own and develop a combined portfolio of more than 15 million sqm of logistics and industrial space, including over 3 million sqm in Romania.

"Dana brings first-hand knowledge of Romania's industrial and logistics sector, gained over two decades in both consultancy and the development and management of industrial parks. This combination is particularly valuable as Romania, Hungary and Southeastern Europe increasingly feature in our conversations with clients," said Daniel Bienias, Managing Director CEE, CBRE.

Throughout her career, Bordei worked with manufacturing companies, retailers and logistics operators on transactions exceeding €300 million. Notable deals include Intercars Brașov (60,000 sqm), VAT Arad (25,000 sqm), Decathlon Bucharest (35,000 sqm) and Carrefour Deva (50,000 sqm) and Bucharest (85,000 sqm). In her new role, she will coordinate teams across Romania, Hungary and Southeastern Europe, covering a combined market of 20 million sqm of industrial and logistics space. "Dana knows this department from the inside, has closed some of the largest industrial and logistics transactions in Romania over the past 15 years, and her expertise makes a particular difference in projects that deliver genuine added value, such as manufacturing facilities and complex, specialised operations," said Răzvan Iorgu, Managing Director, CBRE Romania.

"I have chosen to continue my career in real estate consultancy in a regional role with direct responsibility for a rapidly expanding market: more than 1.6 million sqm are currently under construction in Romania, Hungary and Serbia alone. My objective is clear: to strengthen CBRE's position in industrial and logistics transactions across the entire region," said Dana Bordei, Head of Industrial and Logistics CBRE Romania and Head of Industrial and Logistics Strategic Client Development CEE South, CBRE.
