Jagoda Gwardys-Zientara, former Chief Operating Officer (COO), takes on the role of Commercial and Procurement Director, overseeing procurement, supply chain and logistics activities. Jagoda takes over the role from Vincent Arnault, who continues his career with the Carrefour Group, in the French team. With this change, the position of COO will dissolve and the duties will be redistributed among the board members, depending on the specific formats.

Cătălin Samara returns to Carrefour and is the new Hypermarket Business Unit Director
Cătălin Samara has accumulated extensive experience within Carrefour since 2000, holding multiple key roles in departments such as Hypermarket, Marketing, Digital, E-commerce, IT, Customer Services and Omnichannel strategy, Business Unit Bringo, culminating in the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Moreover, from 2011 he became a Member of the Carrefour Executive Committee. Cătălin made an essential contribution to the development of the Bringo business concept and e-grocery platform, and in 2022 he took on a new challenge within the Carrefour Group as Bringo International Director, and then took over the position of Bringo Romania CEO.
He returns to the Carrefour team in the role of Hipermarket Business Unit Director, at the same time coordinating the Expansion team of this format and being responsible for the continuation of the Cora integration process.

Roxana Cernica is appointed Business Unit Director Market, Express and Supeco
Roxana Cernica joined the Carrefour Romania team in 2004, and starting in June, she takes over the management of small formats, such as Carrefour Market, Carrefour Express and the Supeco discount network, being also responsible for their Expansion area. Previously, Roxana had the role of Commercial Development Director.
"Taking over the management of small formats is a challenge and, at the same time, a responsibility that I accept with enthusiasm. Since 2004, I have had the privilege to grow alongside Carrefour and to understand in depth the commercial dynamics and the retail market in Romania. In my new role, I aim to expand our presence in urban communities, ensuring we stay close to our customers, in their residential neighborhoods or workplaces. I am convinced that, through joint efforts and a clear vision, we will succeed in strengthening the trust that clients have in us", said Roxana Cernica.
