Based on an investment of around €18 million, the project will become Romania's first nearly zero-energy building (nZEB) school. The campus will incorporate bioclimatic design principles to achieve net zero energy consumption, a reduced carbon footprint, and lower operational costs.
Scheduled to open in September 2026, the Amber Verita Campus is being developed in two stages on a 15,000 sqm area. It will host a school, kindergarten, and afterschool facilities, along with sports amenities, catering to children aged 2.5 to 18 years.
The campus will dedicate only 20% of its area to buildings, with the remaining space allocated to expansive green areas, sports fields, and parks. Sports facilities will include an indoor gym and swimming pool.
The development of the Amber Verita Campus will complement Verita International School & Kindergarten's existing Aviației location.
“Starting construction for Amber Verita Campus consolidates our strategic commitment to develop sustainable and complete communities,” said Alex Skouras, Managing Partner of Alesonor.
The new campus will also enhance the Amber Forest complete suburb, which recently achieved Platinum certification under the LEED v4.1 for Communities: Plan and Design rating system, the first residential project in Europe to receive this recognition from the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
Amber Forest features 690 nZEB smart villas and apartments, high-quality infrastructure, a 5.3-ha park and common green areas, a sports club offering a wide range of sports and leisure facilities.
